Prior to his admission to the Supreme Court, Lee was a member of the Queensland Police for a number of years, which included working at the Criminal Justice Commission, now known as the Crime and Corruption Commission.
After leaving the police service, Lee was employed with Queensland Parliament where he worked in the role of security supervisor as well as relieving as the manager of security and sergeant at arms of the parliament.
With the experience gained in law enforcement, Lee has the knowledge of how prolonged and in-depth investigations are conducted and the necessary evidence required by police to prove their case
During Lee’s study at Southern Cross University, Lee received the respected Bruce Miles Foundation Scholarship award for Excellence in the study of Law.
With an attention to detail combined with his ability to interpret legislation, Lee has achieved great results for clients by having charges withdrawn due to errors made by police either during the investigation process, interview process or where legislation has not been followed.
Lee has proven experience in representing clients who have been charged with serious drug and organised crime charges, attempted murder as well as street offences and running trials for clients in the Magistrates Courts along with instructing Barristers in the District and Supreme Court.
