Jodie commenced working at Hannay Lawyers as the firm’s Law Clerk in 2019 in the Southport office and is currently studying a Batchelor of Laws at Griffith University.
Jodie works alongside our solicitors in the daily preparation of their legal matters and is an experienced advocate, who appears regularly before our Magistrate and District Courts. She has extensive experience in instructing Counsel, preparing briefs, legal documents, and the daily running of our legal matters across all Jurisdictions.
Jodie is known for her advocacy and community-based roles, she’s advocated with My Community Legal Centre, contributed to the build of Southport’s Outreach and assisted in the facilitation of the at the Men’s Domestic Violence Education and Intervention Prevention program. Due to Jodie’s commitment to the community and legal profession she was acknowledged by her colleagues and was nominated and a finalist in the Women in Law Awards, Student of the Year Category.
Jodie’s sympathetic and kind disposition towards our clients and comprehensive knowledge of Court processes allows Jodie to assist our clients’ everyday needs making Jodie an integral member of our Hannay Team.
